past couple of years. It is not meant to be a step-by-step guide to construction,
but rather a potpourri of techniques which may give you some ideas for constructing your own HexBeam.

To get a parallel line along the length of the centre post, lay it on a flat surface up against a length of timber about half its height. Rotate the post until your 60 degree mark lines up with the top surface of the timber, and run a pen along the post.
