Amateur Radio (G3TXQ) - Argosy copy

Some years ago I owned a Ten-Tec Argosy - the analogue MkI version. I regretted selling it and decided to build my own "improved" version. It is not yet complete - the PA and output low pass filters have still to be installed in the rear screened compartment. The circuitry is exactly the same as the Argosy MkII with the exception that mine retains the analogue frequency readout. Take a look at the photos - I'm particularly pleased with the feel of the VFO slow-motion drive; it's silky smooth with no backlash at all. I picked the gearbox up at a local Ham boot sale for a few pence!
